Family and Studies
Do you have one or more children? Are you expecting a child? Are you planning to start a family in the near future? Are you taking care of relatives? The Family Support Office helps student parents to overcome the many challenges of studies, family - and the workplace.
The Family Support Office provides you with advice on organizing and financing your studies, as well as studying abroad. You will receive information on your rights (such as compensation for disadvantages, “Nachteilsausgleich”), as well as childcare and state services. The Family Support Office will also refer you to other counselling services, for example those offered by the university or Student Union (RefRat) or the studierendenWERK.
